Paul Rademacher is the co-founder and CEO of Lucid Greening LLC, a crowdfunding platform to financially support initiatives based in consciousness and/or spirituality. Through the Lucid Greening blog, he is gathering a community dedicated to finding novel ways to integrate expanded awareness into all aspects of life.
From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Rademacher was Executive Director of The Monroe Institute, in Faber Virginia, known for its pioneering work in the exploration of human consciousness. Using a patented auditory technology, The Institute conducts intensive 6 day and weekend programs that help participants to experience profound states of relaxation and expanded awareness.
Mr. Rademacher became interested in consciousness exploration due to a mystical experience that unfolded during a construction accident in 1980. This profoundly life changing event convinced him to enroll at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree in 1985.
During his 15 years of service as a Presbyterian pastor, he studied extensively in the fields of consciousness and spirituality, seeking to bring together traditional meditation techniques with contemporary expressions of spiritual exploration. In 2001, he became a Residential Facilitator at The Monroe Institute before assuming the role of Executive Director.
He is a former building contractor, designer, and journeyman carpenter. Paul is also an experienced public speaker, spiritual director, seminar leader, artist, closet musician, husband and father of three. Hampton Roads Publishing released his book, A Spiritual Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Universe: Travel Tips for the Spiritually Perplexed, in 2009.
